✔️Reach Hearts for Christ

Where is God when teaching is hard?

He’s right there with you, working in your classroom, working in your students, and working in YOU.

You see, God never said the Christian life would be easy. In fact, Scripture promises just the opposite - trials, challenges, griefs... Sound familiar?

But the amazing news is that God is at work IN the struggle and despite the opposition.

Rise Up Summit 2024 Logo

He is light in the darkness, and His heart is always for us. He will use the challenges to draw us closer to Him, and He promises that His strength will uphold us when we're at the end of our rope.

Discover anew the hope that is found in Christ as well as practical solutions to navigate specific challenges that occur when teaching in a confused world.

Teaching is more than a job; it's our mission!

Learn practical strategies to teach with excellence, avoid burn out, and transform your school with the light of His love.

Experts from across the country will bring you practical ideas and inspiration in both live & on-demand sessions, empowering you to rise up and fulfill your God-given mission as an educator.

Our Vision

At Christian Educators and Teach 4 the Heart, we share the same vision.

We believe that teaching is an important calling and that God has you right where you are for a reason.

But that doesn’t mean it’s easy.

Challenges abound, the enemy seeks to discourage us, and we feel alone – sometimes struggling to see exactly what God is trying to do on our campus.

That’s why together we’re creating this virtual summit – to encourage and equip Christian educators in both public and private schools.

To bring us together and create a community around our shared goals and mission.

And to raise up a generation of teachers and educational leaders who will step out in faith and embrace God’s heart for their classrooms, students, and schools.

We hope you can be continually encouraged by these sessions!

"I love this conference. It's the highlight of my autumn. You really want to make time for this uplifting and relevant conference."

THE DISCOURAGEMENT ANTIDOTE: FINDING OUR WORTH IN CHRIST

with Jill Miller

From a negative observation to an out-of-control class to an unhappy parent, when things go wrong it's easy to feel discouraged and dismayed. In this session, we will explore the importance of finding our worth in Christ rather than in the success of our teaching. Join us to discover how to cultivate a healthy and secure identity rooted in Christ. You'll also learn practical steps for applying these principles in your teaching and personal life.

What teachers are saying:

Thank you for breaking down the 3 different identities: traditional, modern and gospel. When we look through these “glasses” it makes it easier to understand what are students are going through and how we can redirect their thinking to how God views us.

Janet sharing about "Reshaping Identity Issues With The Gospel" With Jonathan Holmes

Thank you for the Scriptures shared. Thank you for acknowledging that the darkness is real, and also for reminding us that God shines his light in and through us. He will light our path daily when we seek Him. I will try harder to find the moments of joy in my days. I want to be the person in Jeremiah 17:7-8.

Melissa G. shared about " Responding with Hope & the Love of Jesus" by Ashley Ogal

I really appreciated hearing from these women and the wisdom they had to share about reading in today’s day and age. The emphasis on timeless yet culturally respectful books was great!

Mandy sharing about "Choosing Hopeful Literature in a Depressing Culture" by the Redeemed Reader team

Very informative and interesting talk. Takeaways:
1. Self-silencing actually decreases diversity.
2. Mentoring and encouragement are needed.

Linda Sharing about "Overcoming Self-Censorship Amidst a Cancel Culture" by Clint Elliott

“Self-care has a place in our renewal…[but] prayer is what refuels our soul.”
Love the model of Christ’s intentional times of withdrawing to seek true, intentional, ordinary [daily], and prayerful rest.

Seana S. Sharing about "Stop Being a Superhero: Preventing Teacher Burnout" by Pratia Jordan

Guilty!!! My greatest problem every week is trying to do everything now, now, now! I will take these ideas and try to begin prioritizing the things I need to do which will include personal, self-care time for myself. I see “great” teachers quit every year because they are just worn out. I don’t want to be this teacher. Thank you for the encouragement.

Randy C. sharing about "Prioritizing Your Time when There’s Not Enough to Go Around" by Dr. Sandra Battige

“You were at your limit when you started teaching. You can’t do this without Him” -David Platt
Thank you for shouting this out! It was so perfect. We can’t do it without Him. period. What a great session.

Kayla W. sharing about "Serving Jesus in Your Classroom Mission Field" by David Platt

I love the thought of using the website to draw the families to the school. Websites are so important to have that first touch with families so this is an awesome piece of advice!

Landon L. Sharing about "Marketing & Enrollment Strategies for Private Schools" by Sadie Elliott

I would never have thought about teaching abroad. Very interesting information and a great way to spread the Gospel.

Kim sharing about "5 Questions to Ask Yourself When Considering Teaching Abroad" by TeachBeyond

Thank you so much for this session! It has challenged my thinking and scope!
