"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."

a FREE online conference for Christian Educators in both private & public schools

Join us LIVE online - October 19-21, 2023

This page will be updated with 2023 information shortly.
In the meantime, check out last year's information below to get a flavor for the event.

Where is God when teaching is hard?

He’s right there with you, working in your classroom, working in your students, and working in YOU.

You see, God never said the Christian life would be easy. In fact, Scripture promises just the opposite - trials, challenges, griefs, and opposition will abound. Sound familiar?

But the amazing news is that God is at work IN the struggle and despite the opposition.

His plans are never thwarted, He is light in the darkness, and His heart is always for us. He will use the challenges & struggles to draw us closer to Him, and He promises that when we're at the end of our rope, His strength will uphold us & His grace will see us through.

Join us to discover anew the encouragement & hope that is found in Christ as well as practical solutions to navigate specific challenges that occur when teaching in a confused world.

Hear from fellow educators:

Classroom Management

Loved the classroom management session. I remind myself daily God is with me on this journey even when I have several challenges within the classroom. He is my co-educator.

Edwinnia W.

Felt like an In-person Conference

I loved how it was online but felt like an actual conference you would attend in person with the prayer chat and bookstore.

The summit has provided a tremendous amount of Bible based, valuable tools we can take back to our classrooms. The speakers were fabulous and the prayers so encouraging.

Linda S.

Teaching is more than a job; it's our mission!

Learn practical strategies to teach with excellence, avoid burn out, and transform your school with the light of His love.

Experts from across the country will bring you practical ideas and inspiration in both live & on-demand sessions, empowering you to rise up and fulfill your God-given mission as an educator.

Our Vision

At Christian Educators and Teach 4 the Heart, we share the same vision.

We believe that teaching is an important calling and that God has you right where you are for a reason.

But that doesn’t mean it’s easy.

Challenges abound, the enemy seeks to discourage us, and we feel alone – sometimes struggling to see exactly what God is trying to do on our campus.

That’s why together we’re creating this virtual summit – to encourage and equip Christian educators in both public and private schools.

To bring us together and create a community around our shared goals and mission.

And to raise up a generation of teachers and educational leaders who will step out in faith and embrace God’s heart for their classrooms, students, and schools.

We hope you can join us online October 19 - 24!

Registration will open in the summer

What teachers are saying:

Guilty!!! My greatest problem every week is trying to do everything now, now, now! I will take these ideas and try to begin prioritizing the things I need to do which will include personal, self-care time for myself. I see “great” teachers quit every year because they are just worn out. I don’t want to be this teacher. Thank you for the encouragement.

Randy C. sharing about "Prioritizing Your Time when There’s Not Enough to Go Around" by Dr. Sandra Battige

I would never have thought about teaching abroad. Very interesting information and a great way to spread the Gospel.

Kim sharing about "5 Questions to Ask Yourself When Considering Teaching Abroad" by TeachBeyond

Love others by listening….

Rachel M. Sharing her takeaway from "Responding to Controversial Issues with Compassion, Conviction, & Hope" by Sean McDowell

Schedule by role, not responsibility - Invest in relationships - Tell your time where to go
Thank you so much for the session!!

Tricia sharing about "Prioritizing Your Time when There’s Not Enough to Go Around" by Sandra Battige

As someone who is new to a school leadership position, I found this talk very encouraging.

Cassidy sharing about "Christian Admins in Public Schools: How to Lead Well" with the Principal panel

Very informative and interesting talk. Takeaways:
1. Self-silencing actually decreases diversity.
2. Mentoring and encouragement are needed.

Linda Sharing about "Overcoming Self-Censorship Amidst a Cancel Culture" by Clint Elliott

I watched this session after an exhausting day with some kids who are really hurting. I loved the practical tips for how to help them, and I’m actually feeling somewhat inspired to try some of these!

Amy R. sharing about "Trauma-Sensitive Schools: Building an Environment that Supports Healing & Success" by Andrea Parson

Good reminders- I liked the quote “to change what they think, you need to change what they experience”

Clair shared by "Using Your Unique Strengths to Create Moments of Meaningful Connection" by Joe Elliott

Very thorough! Love the way it can be used in a public school.

Anita S. shared about "Teaching Reading Comprehension with Any Text (Including Scripture)" with Laura Kebart

I love the thought of using the website to draw the families to the school. Websites are so important to have that first touch with families so this is an awesome piece of advice!

Landon L. Sharing about "Marketing & Enrollment Strategies for Private Schools" by Sadie Elliott

Other questions?

I am enjoying the mental health topics. They are helping personally, and how I interact with my students. My favorite saying is "School does not define you but God defines you." I want my students to realize that even though school is a struggle for them, God has a plan for their lives.
