I have a lot going on right now in my life. I am currently separated awaitng the end of my marriage so dealing with the changes in finances, running a house, and meeting the kids needs. I have also been an elementary small group reading intervention teacher for 20 years. I have been moved to middle school social studies this year so I now have a different age level and 30 kids in a class. its been an excruciating difficult transition. When the kids are not with me I’m spending most of my time trying to figure this job out. I have struggled to keep myself grounded and emotions in check. I have felt for many years that education is not where God wants me to be but I was forced to stay since I supported my family since my husband wasn’t supporting us. When I was told I was changing jobs I knew God was in control. Either this will move me into a different career
or I will adjust to a different age group. I’m asking for help to get through this school year. When I come home to my kids I need to do a better job controling my emotions and stress level.. Im also asking for the wisdom to know what God wants me to do with the rest of my life and the courage to trust that he will provide if I am asked to switch professions.
I’m praying for you. I taught middle school and now I’m teaching first grade. Love on those middle schoolers, they really want to be seen. They are little kids in bigger bodies. Although your heart is hurting right now, God is right next to you, and has some healing in store for you. ❤️🩹

This is such a painful season for you! I pray that as God brings you through this trial that it strengthens your faith. I am going through some similar processing of where I should be and issues with relationships. It’s hard!
